More from Mississippi

A few more pictures from our road trip over Christmas. We enjoyed New Orleans especially the Aquarium and feeding the parakeets. Elise doesn't like this last picture with Connor because she says "it looks like we are marrying." I think it is adorable and they could be siblings. We really enjoyed getting to know the boys after not having seen them in more than 3 years. We will definitely see them more often. I can't believe Kaelin turns 16 next week - it is really shocking how fast time goes by as an adult.

Merry Christmas

Well, I figured I had better upload something soon, as I haven't updated our blog since October! December was a great month - Kurt and I went to Miami and Palm Beach for my birthday (and for me to get some work done, which we did). It was awesome and warm! We met up with some great people who are going to help make our German trip to Miami and Palm Beach great. Then a week later we loaded up the car and drove down to Mississippi to visit Julie, Kaelin, Connor, and Scott. We really couldn't have had a nicer visit - thank you Julie! My sister's home(s) is/are amazing. She and Scott are working to get into one full time, but are currently splitting time between three. We had such a good time and even got to day trip down to New Orleans, which was really perfect - I can't wait to go back and stay over. The two day drive down and back was fine with the exception of the first night on our drive back when Elise started to melt down and then I started to melt down, but we got her some dinner and headed to the motel and all was well. Elise LOVED playing fairy princess with Aunt Julie and as you can see LOVES make up and nail polish and she loved playing with Connor, or at least having Connor explain the video game he was playing at the time. We actually got to play a lot of games with the boys and had so much fun.
