Space Age PJs

Courtesy of my mom. Elise LOVES her new silky-stretchy purple pajamas. I think the fabric is actually some that we purchased for me to make a swim suit when I was like 11 or 12. She added a little kitty cat so they look a little less like a Star Trek uniform. My mom also managed
to sew a pair of pjs for Elise's cousins' Aidan and Zane - that turned out great. I feel a little guilty that her vacation was mostly sewing and reading, but she claimed she enjoyed herself.

Another Homemade Dress

Another adorable dress from Mom. When I asked Elise to pick out something to wear from her closet she wanted to wear this dress, which was fine - she hadn't worn it before because I thought it was too big, but I find that it is almost too small, certainly too short, but that didn't stop us from wearing it to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston last week. She always gets so many compliments when I dress her in the clothes my Mom makes for her and today was no exception. Her hair is also much like her grandma's, at least grandma's hair when it was still blond. I keep toying with the idea of seeing what it would look like if I blowed it straight, but given how much Elise hates loud noises I don't think she is going to let me near her with a blow dryer. I do wish it would grow out faster - but I will be sad if she looses the curl so maybe short hair isn't so bad.

Another cute outfit

Another cute outfit from Mom - sadly after one washing the Love decal came off and I haven't sewn it back on. The pants are a little long, but Elise seems to keep getting taller so it won't be long before they are perfect for her.

Spring Cuteness

My Mom is constantly outdoing herself when it comes to making adorable outfits for Elise - so while the red dress is still a little big - the shrug fits like a glove. I love that her hair is finally long enough (after almost three years) to put in pig tails. We are also experimenting with hair clips, which she will actually wear for a couple of hours.
