This Spring we decided to do another round of swimming lessons at the Weymouth Club. Unlike the last two sessions, we decided to place her in the older class (2.5-4 years) and have been pleasantly surprised at how easy a transition it was for her. We anticipated at least a few tears when she understood we weren't getting in the water with her, but she sat on the step and listened to her instructor and when her classmates all had little melt-downs she kept her composure and didn't get scared or upset. The instructor is very patient as she has to be with this age group and kids who are not all happy to be there. I am hoping we can continue through the summer.
