Day Three at the North Carolina Zoo. What a great zoo, such a contrast to what we have here in New England. It was just minutes away from Linda's parents and we spent most the day there. Elise particularly enjoyed the "mud kitchen" play area, where you can see her in her apron and muffin tin. I think she would have been content to stay there all day. As you can imagine she also loved the Carousel, the helicopter and the safari truck. Ethan and Elise were pretty much done in after lunch, but we made our way to the new giraffe feeding station only to find out it closed at two so we missed out on feeding them leaves. It really was a great to see such expansive enclosures for the animals.
