May Days

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend, except for the part where Kurt got really, really sick while we were at the movies on Sunday and ended up missing half of Bridesmaids and then being sick at Bob and Erika's for the rest of the night, fortunately Elise wanted a sleep over anyway. But before the turn for the worse we started out at swimming lessons. Elise finally advanced to level 2, which is great. She actually really likes jumping off of the low platform. We have discovered that the lessons at Weymouth Club are pretty hit or miss, fortunately we like her current teacher, Amara. After swimming and our weekly outing to the Hingham library, we met up with Bob and Erika and the boys at Plymouth Plantation. We have been meaning to go for ages so it was nice to finally get there. It was a beautiful afternoon and we had a great time. The Native peoples village was neat as was the English village. In the English Village the interpreters portray actual settlers. We headed into Plymouth for a walk about and dinner and did a photo shoot at one of those "old tyme" photo places. I will scan those pictures and post too - the boys thought it was so cool and Elise has already picked out her next costume.
