Well Linda and I managed a second extremely successful road trip with Elise and Ethan this year. It is amazing how two years made such a difference in their ability to tolerate the long drive. The kids were great on our 14 hour car rides and hanging out at Linda's parents house. We managed to get to the Zoo twice and the Greensboro Children's Museum, which was a lot of fun too. I still haven't managed to send our Thank You notes yet, but hopefully I will get them in the mail soon. Linda's folks are so kind to let us crash their valuable time with Linda and Ethan and her dad was amazingly sweet with Elise. It is also nice that at least right now Ethan and Elise get on very well so there weren't any issues. Linda is truly amazing when it comes to preparing for road trips and the kids loved getting to unwrap a small item whenever we reached a new state. It was great how this little trick managed to keep them occupied and interested without much whining or any tears. Can't wait until the next trip!
