Kurt and I took Elise to the dentist this morning for the first time. While the ADA recommends a one year visit - try telling that to the dentists in our area, who acted like we were crazy when I called to make an appointment to have Elise's teeth checked at two years. It turned out to be a very nice office with a great staff and fun waiting room featuring a small slide set - Elise was in heaven. She did very well except for the part when the hygenist made her lay on her back, which is when she started to cry. Knock on wood, her teeth look great and she shouldn't have to go back until next July. A shout out to Elmo who helped introduce Elise to the idea visitng a dentist with the "If Elmo had teeth" song.
